The Last Exorcism Part II is a 2012 American supernatural horror film directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly from a screenplay by Gass-Donnelly and Damien Chazelle.
The film stars Ashley Bell, Andrew Sensenig, Spencer Treat Clark, Muse Watson, David Jensen, Judd Lormand, Joe Chrest, Julia Garner, Louis Herthum, Tarra Riggs, Ashlynn Ross, Cristina Franco, Raeden Greer, E. Roger Mitchell and Boyana Balta.
The Last Exorcism centred on an Evangelical preacher, played by Patrick Fabian, who, after years of performing exorcisms, decides to allow a documentary crew to film the last exorcism he plans to perform, in order to show his work is fraudulent.
The sequel follows Nell (Ashley Bell) who, six months after the first film’s events, has moved to a halfway house only to realize that the demon that has ruined her life is still after her!
The sequel incorporates a romantic approach that is based around Nell’s new boyfriend, Chris. There is a subplot involving Bell being targeted by a group of rogue reverends who mean to kill her.

Even though the jump scares are empty, they can pull a rise out of even the sleepiest viewer. “It was always going to be difficult to top the first film, but unbelievably the sequel did have the edge in one respect which as you may have guessed was the ending. Whilst by no means perfect or even terribly satisfactory, this film has a proper conclusion that is clever, a tad creepy and also sadly the only moment where the film remembers the humorous edge of the original.” UK Horror Scene
