Reviews:

“There’s a lot of zapping on display, mostly coming from well-known power outlet checks notes the elbow, a tactic unknown to everyone except wrestlers; and when our cast isn’t shooting bolts out of their weenus, they’re engaged in hand to hand combat that a little deity juice just can’t take care of. Everyone here gets in on the action; it becomes a free for all for the liberation of the soul.” Daily Dead

“Made in the Philippines and barely dubbed into English (one guy has a southern drawl?!), it’s a cool, funny, good v evil, low budget face-off with squibs, candles, magic sounds, wife punching, naked gals (in a cage), snake knotting, wrestling, blood, brief chunky gore and a character called ‘Uncle Ben'” Lurple.com

“The coolest thing with The Killing of Satan is the poster. It’s too cool. A perfect example how to make a cheap exploitation movie interesting. But the nicest thing with this movie is that it’s quite good. It’s wacko of course, not to mention weird and naive. But it’s one hell of a ride.” Ninja Dixon

“The religious aspects were a strange interpretation of Catholicism mixed with more mystical elements, though that didn’t quite explain the sight of, say, a bloke throwing himself under a huge boulder to stop it only to be crushed flat as if in a cartoon, his head unharmed and ranting. The magic powers in evidence were created with rays added in post-production, for the most part, ludicrously cheap…”  The Spinning Image
