The Purge: Anarchy – formerly The Next Chapter of The Purge and The Zone – is a 2014 American horror-thriller film directed and written by James DeMonaco. It is the sequel to the 2013 film The Purge.
The sequel film stars Frank Grillo, Zach Gilford, Michael K. Williams, Carmen Ejogo and Kiele Sanchez. The film’s premise is that for one night of the year all crime is legal.
