Plot:

Answering an in-home help ad for an elderly woman, Abby Daniels leaves family and friends for a remote farmhouse in the country. But all is not as it seems with her fluffy employer, whose locked doors and cellar seem to be hiding some unusual hobbies.

When she drunkenly sneaks her boyfriend into the house, breaking the rules about cursing and fornication, Abby is plunged into a nightmare of hellish proportions – pitted against a clan of ruthless, amoral, and degenerates lead by their murderous granny!

Reviews:

“The kills that we do get are a bit of a letdown.  Also, the practical effects are decent but they are minimal and just enough to make the basic kill scenes watchable. Overall, Kill, Granny, Kill is a fantastic indie film that truly deserves to be watched.” Horror Society

“If you’re looking into making a slapstick horror film, this is how it’s done […] Needless to say, Kill, Granny, Kill isn’t for everyone. Honestly, I didn’t even think it would be for me – but I was wrong.” Modern Horrors

There are flashbacks to give the killer a backstory, some knock-off doo-wop music a la Little Anthony and the Imperials/The Monotones, not-so-creepy dolls and allusions to granny’s casual homophobia/racism (might’ve been more effective to have granny be sweet and kindly through and through to underscore her meanness with an axe). Occasional flourishes of promise, marred by some indifferently awkward scenes.” Really Awful Movies

” …an interesting story, some pretty decent practical effects, and some damn fine performances. The characters, including Mildred, were likeable and when they kick the bucket I actually cared. There were even a couple “What? No!” moments. Those are hard to beat. This is overall a well put together film.” Tennessee Horror

“Incredibly amateurish horror-comedy, it only really has one joke but it’s a pretty good one, and it doesn’t overstay its welcome at 70 minutes. Perfect midnight-movie fare, an excellent choice for the end of a long festival day.” Tom Morton

The camp ranges from too silly to funny, the character interaction is very good, the gore is borderline, restricted to only a couple of scenes…” The Worldwide Celluloid Massacre

“A couple of things most horror fans really enjoy that are here in spades is nudity and gore […] There is even some gross-out humor tossed in for good measure and even they manage to get that right here in this movie as well.” Zombies Don’t Run
