Reviews:

“Showcasing juicy performances by its actors who tear into their stock roles with admirable conviction, the film looks terrific, with Karim Hussain’s widescreen photography making the wintry locations look particularly ominous.” The Hollywood Reporter

‘With still-smoking, burned-to-a-crisp zombies rampaging through the house and a selection of explicit, physical splatter effects, the mood shift ups the energy and makes for an entertaining if over-the-top finale. Geoghegan establishes what seems to be a simple haunted house set-up but adds complications which make the outcome less predictable.’ Screen Daily

We Are Still Here does not reinvent the horror wheel, but it respects the genre enough to know when it’s time to grease that wheel with a little blood — OK, a lot — and more than a few welcome surprises. It manages to do all that with an authentic spirit, whether it’s being quiet and unsettling or jolting and savage.’ Twitch Film

“New to the game director Ted Geoghegan expertly ratchets up the horror inside the house without falling prey to easy scares or clichéd jumps. After the slow burn of the first half, all hell breaks loose. Menacing locals, evil spirits, and ghosts all try to take down the Sacchetti’s. You’ll be locking your doors and drawing your blinds in no time.” The Lineup

“… Geoghegen is a master of both the suspenseful buildup and the just-when-you-think-the-bloodletting-is-over-here-comes-another-thrust-and-or-slash effect. The scares and the shocks work very well with the twists of the plot, which are within the boundaries of conventional genre fare but are pulled off with panache and some not-displeasing variation.” RogerEbert.com
