“Where Queen Crab scores major plus points is in eschewing CGI for stop motion animation to bring its giant crab to life … Thankfully Piper also really knows his audience – the type of film fan who’s willing to look beyond low budgets, production issues etc., and doesn’t take his or her movie watching too seriously, someone who’s willing to just enjoy a movie purely for fun. And Queen Crab is a LOT of fun.” Nerdly

“I realize this film is meant to be a sort of homage to the giant creature films from the 50s and 60s…and if it was meant to be a comedy, ok fine. But I never got the feel that it was. There’s too much ‘seriousness’ in it to be a comedy, and as such, the movie fails on almost every level.” Shattered Ravings

“If you enjoy a good laugh and a giant monster flick with a happy ending this is certainly up your avenue. With a tad old school way to shoot a new movie and a fun plot Queen Crab will sure to leave you with a smile…” Sinful Celluloid

“weird things happen and this title veers off the tracks with gun happy hicks and military planes coming in to drop bombs. The gore is either good or non-existent. It’s fun and campy, or it’s really, really not. All things considered, Queen Crab is right in the middle of old school creature feature nostalgia and, well… crap.” Horror Society
