In the town of Dillford, it used to be that vampires, humans and zombies got along, but then something unexpected arrived and now it’s humans vs. vampires vs. zombies in all-out mortal combat. Three teenagers must try to get things back to “normal”…

Reviews:

“ …fold your arms and snort with smug detachment” or open your eyes, mind, notice the roster of comedians in supporting roles, and surprisingly substantial make-up, pretty terrific practical and CGI FX, and recognizable names in leading roles, deal with some low level comedy that morphs into sophisticated very funny satire at times…” Addicted to Horror Movies

“As it turns out, the most impressive thing about Freaks of Nature is the cast. I’m not sure who was involved in the film that was able to draw all of these familiar faces together, but they must not have shown everyone a script. I’m all for a good monster mash, but Freaks of Nature proves once again that it’s a difficult recipe to master.” DVD Sleuth

“This film definitely isn’t one you should think about too hard because everything is nonsensical so don’t even bother. In my opinion it gets much better when it’s just our three main protagonists, and in this cliché filled clusterf*ck they all do very well with what their given. I have to give them credit for making me laugh…” Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

” …it’s basically an exercise in underwhelming chaos. Had it been scripted tighter, the humans vs. zombie vs. vampire vs. alien storyline might have worked better than it does here. As it stands though, if you can excuse its clutter, then you’ll probably find Freaks of Nature about as enjoyable as we did…” The Horror Club

Freaks of Nature may never be as clever as the absurd premise promises, but the willingness to approach the entire endeavor with tongue-in-cheek humor helps gloss over the film’s shortcomings. Don’t take it too seriously and it makes for good campy entertainment.” Real Movie News

” …excellent supporting cast of Bob Odenkirk, Joan Cusack, Dennis Leary and Patton Oswalt, a really hot soundtrack, and cool painted artwork […] There’s a thinly-veiled message about identity that rides through the spine of the movie, but like the film itself, it rarely piques your interest to leave any kind of lasting impression.” The Schlock Pit

“The film is basically front loaded with a lot of action that sets up the rest of the film but that made it feel incredibly awkward and uneven in the much more dialogue-heavy second half. The conclusion felt really anticlimactic.” Wicked Horror
