Reviews:
” …Intruders works well enough most of the time, and while it isn’t an overly violent home invasion film (though it does have its share of bloodshed), it’s tense in all the right places.” 2,500 Movies Challenge
“Despite an invitation to switch over to slasher mode, Schindler keeps his cool (displaying encouraging creativity with his limited budget), preferring to sneak up on audiences with the unexpected, and most of these surprises genuinely work, securing passable motivations for brutality. “Intruders” doesn’t provide a pounding viewing experience, but it’s sharp where it counts…” Blu-ray.com
“The story eventually unfolding here is rather more convoluted than necessary, except for the desire to provide Anna’s mayhem with moral justification. It isn’t needed, assuming you agree that if you invade someone’s home, your right to life is immediately severely curtailed. You’re Next was better in this area…” Girls with Guns
“The film sheds at a rapid pace, but also takes the time to let its scary atmosphere fill the negative space around its story. Toronto After Dark is using films like Panic Room and You’re Next to describe Schindler’s Shut In, but this powerful thriller is very much in a league of its own.” Wylie Writes
