Reviews:

“… the movie’s occasional stabs at political commentary never quite pay off. Nor can the writer-directors, brothers Yoav and Doron Paz, fully sustain the film’s novelty into the second half, when the script reverts to timeless, tired monster-movie tropes.” Variety

… the creepy evocativeness of its superbly utilized setting (the filmmakers reportedly shot on the sly, at times claiming to be working on a documentary), and the well-realized creature designs make it a more than respectable horror effort.” The Hollywood Reporter

” …try to tell me that this film doesn’t set out to address Muslim/Christian/Jewish tension in the Middle East. You won’t get that kind of critique in JeruZalem because the Paz brothers are so much more interested in skin-deep jump scares that they fail to develop their characters, both undead and alive.” RogerEbert.com

The crumbling of such a stoic city under Satan’s weight is reason enough for intrigue, and the Paz brothers show enough genre grit to warrant a dance with the devil. You might be left wanting more, but satisfaction still comes in the way of vile bouts of demon-smiting aggression.” We Got This Covered

” … a movie with some innovative quirks, stunning scenery shots of a gorgeous Jerusalem, but fails to exploit the massive amount of potential it had…” Horror-Movies.ca

“The Paz Brothers have done well to showcase the city and explore its alleyways which has only made me want to visit the place myself. They’ve definitely been able to use their location to their advantage, both as a storytelling plot device and a spooky scene-setter.” Horror Cult Films
