Reviews:

” … for all of The Killer Eye‘s faults, hardly anyone other than Full Moon Features, the studio behind the Puppet Master and Subspecies series, knows how to churn out cut-rate monster movies these days. And if that’s your pleasure […]  you might enjoy The Killer Eye.” A.V. Club

The Killer Eye isn’t nearly as killer as it is horny, as it spends the majority of its time molesting its entranced victims with its slimy tentacles. Things pick up in the final act when bad science is replaced with bad jokes and a number of ridiculous gags. This one is best left to the B-movie fans with eyeball fetishes.” I Like Horror Movies

“Nothing works in this picture, from the poorly structured story to the sparsely decorated sets. Even the actors suck in comparison to the performances they gave in Head of the Family and Hideous!” Steve Miller, 150 Movies You Should Die Before You See

” …The Killer Eye could have maybe been something akin to Anguish (1987) and drawn connections between the horny eye impotently looking on as women writhe before it and the obvious connection with the viewer left impotently watching the extended sex scenes the film offers. However, The Killer Eye is not a film steeped in meta-fictional self-awareness.” Moria

“It’s not the lame finale, constantly groan-able dialogue, or even Blake Bailey’s annoying performance as the comic relief janitor that drags this one down; what really makes this a chore to watch is the fact it runs a mere 66 minutes (minus credits) and still is boring as Hell. Plus it doesn’t help that the effects suck…” The Video Graveyard
