‘Based on horrifying true events’
The Amityville Terror is a 2016 American supernatural horror film directed by Michael Angelo – his first feature – from a screenplay by actress (Dracula’s Curse; Blood Rush; Sorority Party Massacre) and costume designer Amanda Barton (also the writer of Angels Fallen).
The movie stars Nicole Tompkins, Kaiwi Lyman, Kim Nielsen, Amanda Barton and Tonya Kay.
Plot:
When a new family moves to an old house in Amityville, they are tormented and tortured by an evil spirit living in their house and trapped by the malicious townspeople who want to keep them there…
Reviews:
“The set-up may induce sleepiness, but at least it follows a formula, never mind how rote that formula may be. Then the film seemingly loses all remaining respect for itself by degrading into a sloppily edited last act tying threads together in ridiculously rushed fashion.” Culture Crypt
An unbelievably stupid film with a plot seemingly made up as the film progresses, the only remarkable thing in it […] is the inclusion of a load of nudity just as the movie watcher is convinced that this must be one of those anodyne cheapo made for Syfy offerings…” Dark Eyes of London

On 26 June 2017, 4Digital Media released the film on DVD in the UK on a triple-bill with The Amityville Asylum and The Amityville Playhouse.
