Reviews:

“There’s a fair amount of suspense along with the dark humor, backed up with some surprisingly good alien effects and gore. And I didn’t feel cheated by the ending, something I’ve been feeling with a lot of films lately. Director Trevor Ryan and writer Tim Ryan, (yes they’re brothers) have put together a nice little package that’s been somewhat sabotaged by its marketing.” Beneath the Underground

“Erratic pacing and an abrupt ending work against it, though the intentions are good and, amidst the clips from Night of the Living Dead, Reefer Madness and President Reagan’s term, Dolph Lundgren sends himself up as “Derek”, a key character from a credibly corny fake cop show named “Fists of Justice”. Horrorscreams Videovault

“The charm of this movie is in the unbridled comic insanity that pervades nearly every frame […] They might not have had a whole lot of money to make this one, and while it did constrain them a bit where it counts, they mostly spent their limited funds judiciously. The gore effects and alien makeups were top notch and appropriately slimy and creepy.” Horror Society

Choice dialogue:

“I could be Bigfoot? Bigfoots? Bigfeet?”

Possum (Rory Culkin): “But I tell you man, I think there’s a connection between hallucinogenic drugs and aliens. You could tap in if you were really open to it”
