Reviews:

“A fairly painless watch, but also fairly pointless, as it really doesn’t bring much fun, excitement, nor schlock value to the table, opting instead for an almost plot-less array of recycled shark movie cliches, lethargic characterizations, uninspired kills, a shockingly low body count (way too many extraneous characters still alive at the end), and an ending that sets the stage of an over-the-top visual only to cheat the audience by keeping that action almost exclusively off-camera.” Foywonder, Dread Central

“One of the better elements found here is the usual motif of the series of letting this one play around so gleefully with the absurdity of the premise. This one really takes great length to utilize the fact that the creatures’ sheer implausibility to exist provides this one with plenty of outstanding action scenes that bring about the multiple heads into play.” Don Anelli, Letterboxd

“Marginally better than 2-Headed Shark Attack and 3-Headed Shark Attack. The CGI remains pretty decent for one of these type of movies, and the cast isn’t terrible. Chris Bruno (you may remember him from The Dead Zone TV show) actually seems to be having a bit of fun with the role. I will admit that I enjoy that the fifth head is located on the sharks ass.” Dan D., Letterboxd

“Asylum films, like this one, are always wonderfully meta. All of the characters in 5 Headed Shark Attack appear to be aware that they’re characters in a B-movie and they all accept their assigned roles and fate with proper enthusiasm. It’s pure entertainment and, as a result, a lot of fun to watch. It’s movie that encourages you to worry about nothing more than having a good time and maybe a few laughs.” Lisa Marie Bowman, Through the Shattered Lens
