ZOMBILLENIUM (2017) Reviews and overview

Zombillenium is a 2017 French/Belgian animated comedy horror film written and directed by Alexis Ducord and Arthur de Pins, based on the latter’s book. It features the voices of Emmanuel Curtil, Alain Choquet and Kelly Marot.

Zombillenium, the Halloween theme park, happens to be the one place on earth where real monsters can hide in plain sight.

When Hector, a human, threatens to disclose the true identity of his employees, the vampire Park Manager has no other choice but to hire him. To see his daughter, Hector must escape from his zombies and werewolves co-workers…

Reviews:

“Action-oriented set-pieces are few and far between (much like big laughs) but a wild pursuit featuring shotgun blasts, witchcraft and an aerial escape on Gretchen’s skateboard-broom provides welcome thrills early on. Zombillenium’s ride is odd enough to try out but lacks the loops, speed and overall sense of excitement to warrant repeat visits.” Tom Kiesecoms, Screen Anarchy
