Reviews:

“The only decent noteworthy performance goes to Tomas Boykin as possessed patient Happy Man, who’s one patient you wouldn’t like to be stuck in a dark room with. A confusing plot, weak script and characters and a lack of tension leaves this viewer unpossessed.” Cult Horror Films

“The special effects in Voodoo Possession are very good, and the Voodoo element is very creepy and scary. The only thing that lets it down, is the acting is not always consistent and neither is the camera work, but the film is saved by a great storyline…” Cryptic Rock

“Urgency is absent from virtually everything taking place onscreen as characters carry on conversations serving purposes of exposition alone well into the third act. Unfolding so casually and so continually throughout so much of the film would be a momentum killer if the movie had any to begin with.” Culture Crypt

“I really don’t know what happened during production or if the script was such a terrible one to begin with but something went terribly wrong along the line somewhere. By all means, watch the first half of the movie but for your own sake don’t forget to switch it off after the halfway point.” Boba_Fett1138

Voodoo Possession is a flat, lifeless snoozer devoid of any defining horror characteristics. What’s supposed to grab our attention? Danny Trejo’s momentary cameos as a caretaker warning everyone of the voodoo atrocities that await? A black, bubbly monster who can barely move or pose any type of creature feature scares?” We Got This Covered

” …this movie has the audacity to not only waste Danny Trejo, but not allow him to play the character with the machete. No, seriously. Who makes this stuff? What is the matter with them? This film is just a failure on all fronts. It’s almost like RedBox has low standards. Who would have thought?” Ruthless Reviews
