Following a tragedy, teenager Logan Wallace (Dylan Minnette) and his mother Naomi Wallace (Piercey Dalton) find themselves besieged by threatening supernatural forces when they move to a relative’s vacant vacation home…

Reviews:

The Open House is full of senselessness and is lacking in just about every facet besides high production value. The picture looks fine, but the story is irritatingly awful. To make matters worse, the film is anticlimactic and doesn’t tie together any of its loose ends. Ultimately, viewers will be left with their faces in their palms…” Bloody Disgusting

” …apart from a few odd moments, it fails to generate any suspense whatsoever, revolving around the up-and-down mother-son relationship, and when it finally enters the horror territory, the idea behind the mysterious intruder becomes truly pointless.” CineMarvellous!

“Squandering most of its satirical potential about the angst of selling a house while also failing to fully exploit its eerie setting and skilled actors or deliver a remotely compelling antagonist, The Open House is an aggressively boring snooze-fest of a horror flick…” Flickering Myth

“It’s all nonsensical and padded with far too many tropes to give it any significance. Genuine horror fans will scoff and anyone else looking for some frights will surely be disappointed.” That Moment In
