Leprechaun Returns is a 2018 American supernatural horror film directed by Steven Kostanski (The Void; The ABCs of Death 2; Father’s Day) from a screenplay written by Suzanne Keilly (Ash vs Evil Dead).
Linden Porco (Smart Mouth from Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block) plays the titular character, alongside Taylor Spreitler (Amityville: The Awakening), Pepi Sonuga (Ash vs Evil Dead), and Sai Bennett (Lake Placid: Legacy), Mark Holton (as Ozzie from the original 1993 film), Emily Reid, Oliver Llewellyn-Jenkins, and Ben McGregor.
Plot:
Twenty-five years after the events of the original film, a maniacal leprechaun is doing whatever it takes (including committing gruesome murder) to track down his stolen pot of gold. Unfortunately, a group of female students unwittingly awaken the leprechaun while tearing down a cabin to build a new sorority house…

Actor Warwick Davis has explained why he didn’t return for Leprechaun Returns, saying:
“You know what, we did six Leprechaun films and around Halloween people always watch them and love them. Horror is an interesting medium, I think it’s different when you have kids, you look at horror in a slightly different way. Since I finished the Leprechaun films I had kids and I see the world through their eyes and to be in a horror movie right now is probably not quite right, I will wait until my son turns eighteen and then I’ll do some horror again.”
