END TRIP (2018) Reviews and now free to watch online

‘Your next ride may be your last.
End Trip is a 2018 American horror thriller film directed by Aaron Jay Rome, who also stars, from a screenplay co-written with Eric LeBlanc. The movie also stars Dean J. West, Ashley Lenz and Jaren Mitchell.

Plot:
On a calm night in an average city a hardworking URYDE driver, Brandon, picks up just another fare, Judd. Using interactions that blur the lines between the technological world and the physical one, Judd explains a messy breakup with Stef.

The rideshare with Judd continues, growing creepier by the mile, as Brandon forces Stef to play his girlfriend. Stef must fight for her life against a ruthless serial killer preying upon a city full of people who ride with strangers…

Reviews:
“Unfortunately, style choices have muddled the experience and made what could have been a stellar film into a mediocre one. Giving away a film’s secrets early does nothing but take the viewer out of the experience and make them wish it was over sooner than it should be. The viewer needs someone to root for and sadly the film just does not present one.” Cryptic Rock

“The story is filled with unbelievably effective twists and surprises, LeBlanc and Rome have fantastic chemistry together (and Ashley Lenz as Stef is no slouch either!) that makes them so damn likable (which makes what transpires have that much more impact), the film’s dialog is as natural as it comes, and the cinematography and score are top-shelf.” Horror Fuel

End Trip is acted with pitch-perfect precision, beautifully shot, and gallops along at a pace that will leave you breathless and needing to watch it again.” The Movie Sleuth

” …it is very clever at times and I was never quite sure where things were leading […] Things are quick and brutal. There is also an interesting look at social media and how it can be used by people in not very nice ways. Which is something that is becoming more and more relevant.” Nerdly

End Trip is an original, dark and massively interesting film that creates horror from something we see and do every single day.

End Trip takes influence from films like Memento, The Talented Mr Ripley and Psycho while forging it’s own twisted path. Thanks to strong performances from the cast, engaging cinematography and a well-plotted script, this film is sure to get people talking.” Pop Geeks

“Rome manages to keep everything clicking along without too much downtime. It splits services between a rideshare horror flick and a survivor’s nightmare, putting a lot of emphasis on the mental breakdown of one of its characters, and while it lacks the polish of a studio release, is nonetheless a deliciously sinister little horror gem.” That Moment In

“Rome keeps it simple relying on his cast and performances. The result is a nice thriller that’s well-executed, hiding a limited budget. While it may not break new ground, it’s solid and a fun watch any horror fan will enjoy.” Without Your Head
