Reviews:

Sargad obviously didn’t have much of a budget. It shows from time to time. There are problems with quality in some scenes and not in other so there’s not that natural consistency in it. Sometimes it’s dark and the next scene has lights. Most of the time it works.” Tommy Snöberg Söderberg, Active Context

” …it’s hard to overlook the parallels with I Spit on Your Grave when watching Sargad, what with the female avenger and the backwood settings and all, but at the same time one can’t deny that this is a very tightly scripted thriller in its own right carried by atmospheric settings, relatable characters, and violence and gore that really hurt.” Mike Haberfelner, Search My Trash
