PULL (2019) Reviews and overview

‘Hell is here’

Pull is a 2019 American supernatural horror film about a team of investigators on the trail of a serial killer who may not be human.

Written and directed by James Ryan Gary (Devil’s Crossing), the Indigo Pictures production stars Toochukwu T.C. Anyachonkeya, April Ezell Williams, Tim Holt and Valerie Bobo.

Plot:

Charles, Mickey and Kyle are private investigators that specialise in missing person cases. Mickey and her team get in way over their heads when they cross a serial killer who has three very nasty pets that have a taste for human flesh. The team must do what they can to stay alive and to save the killer’s next prey before it is too late…

Reviews:

“The lack of stellar performances and rising action, insipid dialogue, forced fight sequences, an unoriginal antagonist, the inclusion of Horror that is more implied than supplied, and the overuse of intense darkness to conceal featureless creatures only aids in highlighting the film’s more unfavorable qualities…” Cryptic Rock
