Talking to TheArnoldFans, Edward Furlong recently said:
“I’m not allowed to say anything, but yeah, yeah man, I mean it’s a small role but it’s, you know, I’m in there, man,” said Furlong. “I’m in there. I’m glad to be back on it, I’m really, really happy to be doing it.
The hype around Terminator: Dark Fate got hotter at the San Diego Comic-Con when James Cameron revealed that Edward Furlong returns as John Connor in the new movie, which he produced and Deadpool‘s Tim Miller directs. Obviously, this is Edward Furlong’s first film in the series since Terminator 2.
‘Welcome to the day after Judgment Day.’
Terminator: Dark Fate is a 2019 action science-fiction feature film in which Sarah Connor joins forces with a female cyborg to protect a young girl from a powerful new Terminator.
The movie was produced by James Cameron and David Ellison and directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes and Billy Ray. It stars Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
More than two decades after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) sets out to protect a young woman named Dani Ramos and her friends, as a liquid metal Terminator, sent from the future, attempts to terminate them…
As regards some negative online reaction to the new protector terminator, Grace, played by Mackenzie Davis, here’s what director Tim Miller recently told Variety:
“If you’re at all enlightened, she’ll play like gangbusters. If you’re a closet misogynist, she’ll scare the fck out of you, because she’s tough and strong but very feminine. We did not trade certain gender traits for others; she’s just very strong, and that frightens some dudes. You can see online the responses to some of the early sht that’s out there, trolls on the internet. I don’t give a f*ck!”
Terminator: Dark Fate will be gradually released theatrically around the world from 23 October 2019 (UK, France, Indonesia, Netherlands) onwards, with the US release opening on November 1, 2019.
