To tie-in with the release of the Zombieland: Double Tap movie on October 18th, 2019, two new games have been announced!
Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip is a top-down, twin-stick shooter that takes place after the events of the first movie. The game features four player local co-op multiplayer where you can play as one of the four original heroes from the movie – Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock – as well as unlockable characters from the sequel.
There will be special abilities and the Zombieland “rules” that can be used to stay alive against wave after wave of zombies. Double Tap – Road Trip‘s menu will also include a story-based campaign mode, a wave-based horde mode, and recurring daily and weekly challenges.
Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will be released on 15th October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Games has also announced a second video game tie-in.
