Reviews [click links to read more]:
” …while an “anthology,” One Night in October flows as a single, semi-cohesive narrative. Each tale does not have a “title,” there’s no evil mailman, hitchhiker, or crypt keeper delivering the tales, and the “connection” is that the events happen on the same night-timeline. The fact the stories mysteriously unfold in bits n’ pieces—and not as three complete tales one at a time—is appreciated.” B&S About Movies

One Night In October could use a few edits here and there for a more taut experience. And the handheld cinematography is a bit too shaky at times. But this anthology boasts three fascinating tales with engaging characters as well as a genuinely scary atmosphere that culminates in a frenzied ending that rewards the patient viewer.” Film Threat

“From a purely technical standpoint, Carter knows what he’s doing. One Night in October is fun to watch. It looks good. It flows well. But the writing feels generic. The characters are flat and some of the dialogue is unrealistic. At best the movie is watchable.” Killer Horror Critic
