Corona Zombies is a 2020 American satirical horror film from Full Moon Features. It premiered exclusively on the Full Moon Features channel and app on April 10th, 2020. It was widely available on Amazon Prime from April 20th.
The film extensively re-uses footage from Bruno Mattei’s Italian-Spanish trash movie Hell of the Living Dead (1980), plus Zombies vs. Strippers (2012).
Plot:
A government is asleep at the wheel! The wealthy shrugging it off! And a virus that causes its victims to get up and kill! The people they kill… get up and kill.”
Corona Zombies will be available on Full Moon’s digital entertainment platforms, including Amazon Prime and the Full Moon Features channel and app, on April 10th, 2020.

“The story for this one is satire in its purest form. Band makes fun of the Gen Z’s spring breaking, spoiled millennials that ignore the news, and world politics all in one swoop. We then get the glorious dubbing over the Hell of the Living Dead scenes. With all that being said, the humor does wear pretty thin by the 30 minute mark. The film clocks in around an hour but you find yourself waiting for it to end anytime after the 30 minutes.” Horror Society
