Reviews:
“Camille Montgomery is really good here and she absolutely shines as the star of this. She plays that dangerous naivety with such aplomb it makes the whole film. David Gunning was a real downside to this film and he hurt my overall enjoyment of the film.” Film Snob Reviews

” …while the film has a darker tone overall, the first half has small comedic moments perfectly woven in. It does a great job ditching the humor and going all in about halfway through […] Sick for Toys is a fantastic Christmas horror film, psychological thriller, and fresh take on the “family is everything” storyline like we’ve seen in films such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.” Horror Geek Life

Sick for Toys is a crazy weird holiday horror flick that’s rich in story and high in suspense. It’s slow but ominous, and captivating all in the right places. Well made and fantastically acted, this turned out to be an early Christmas present for sure. I can’t find any criticisms with this movie at all because it’s fully actualized, cohesive, and produced with expert precision.” Horror Society

“At its core, Sick for Toys is a tale of damaged people and the ways they cope with the horrors of their childhood taken to the extreme. It’s exceptionally creepy, sexual, vaguely inc*stuous, and heartbreaking. It doesn’t flinch at all..” Horror Talk

“Here the twist isn’t meant to be a massive gasping moment. Instead, the ending played into the overall assumption of the characters’ motivations within the film. It leaves you asking some questions about what their roles really were. I liked it for that.” Mother of Movies

“The film reveals Emilie and Edward as depraved kidnappers immediately in the first scene without leaving us to wonder about the dynamic between the two.  Every time I thought the film may surprise me, every time it set itself up for good twist, surprise or reveal, it fell flat on its own accord.” Nightmarish Conjurings

“A lot of this film relies on dialogue, and this script nears perfection […] I loved how mental disease, hallucinations, and flashbacks are illustrated. Cinematographically speaking, director David Del Rio managed to capture lightning in a bottle and gave us backstories effortlessly.” Tales of Terror
