Michele (Steffani Brass) is the sole survivor of a vacation gone horribly wrong, in which several of her friends were murdered. She discovers that she is harbouring the spirit of a centuries-old witch inside her and it’s up to her best friend to find a way to save her soul from eternal damnation…

Reawakened will be available  On Demand from Wild Eye Releasing on April 28, 2020.

Reviews:
“While there are a few minor issues that strike up here which are more than upheld by the positives, there’s a nice enjoyable streak here that manages to make this one watchable if somewhat average overall. Give it a shot if you’re a fan of these indie-styled supernatural genre efforts…” Don’s World of Horror and Exploitation

“Footage appears too dark in a number of scenes, the performances of a number of the cast feel very lacklustre and the CGI looks about two decades out of date… However what sets Reawakened apart from the typical horror though, and moves the film away from the tropes of the slasher genre too, is the present-day portion of the story, as Michele finds herself haunted by her friend.” Nerdly

” …this one evolves, adds layers to the story, unfolds the underlying mystery – and goes creepy as hell in the process. And thanks to clever writing as well as an atmosphere-heavy directorial effort and a very competent cast, this strategy works like a charm and offers a great eerie ride for all genre fans.” Search My Trash

” …it’s not an unmitigated disaster […] But originality, involving drama, convincing performances, a nuanced screenplay and impressive FX work are not among them. Oh, it’s not remotely scary either.” SGM

“Judging from the website much of it was shot in front of a green screen. And the results are not realistic. However, this frequently gives scenes a vibe that matches the supernatural goings-on. Chalk that up to a happy accident. The result is a film that has enough going for it that you won’t need to be reawakened after it’s over. But it’s still too generic to be anything more than watchable.” Voices from the Balcony
