Eerie Fairy Tales is a 2019 Estonian comedy-horror anthology film comprised of four shorts with linking footage featuring The Demonic Narrator.
Written and directed by Mart Sander, the OÜ FilMinistry production stars Lisette Pomerants, Jekaterina Novosjolova, Kadri Rämmeld and Merle Palmiste.
Plot:
The Demonic Narrator tells us four fairy tales for grown-ups:
In the first story, Actually, the paths of three people who seem to share both the past and the present, intersect in a lonely wayside hotel.
In the second story, The Spring of Solitude, a young village boy Hans falls in love with the mysterious maiden he meets at the sacred spring and decides to free her from an ancient curse.
Abeyance is a story about two investigators trying to solve the secrets of a World War II Nazi research centre.
The Butler Did It is an Agatha Christi-esque murder mystery spiced with black humour, where it befalls to the butler to expose the murderer(s) over a dinner party.
