The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud is a 2020 British science-fiction action-comedy film about a gamer girl who gets sucked into her favourite game. Also known as simply Max Cloud.
Plot:
When teen gamer Sarah (Isabelle Allen) discovers an “Easter egg” and accidentally opens a portal into her favourite side-scroller game, she becomes trapped in a notorious intergalactic prison, home to the galaxy’s most dangerous villains. To escape, she must finish the game with a little help from her not-so-savvy friend on the outside… or remain a 16-bit character forever.
Directed by Martin Owen (Killers Anonymous; Let’s Be Evil; L.A. Slasher) from a screenplay co-written with Sally Collett, the movie stars Scott Adkins (Seized; Legacy of Lies), Tommy Flanagan, John Hannah, Lashana Lynch and Isabelle Allen.

In the USA, Well Go USA will release Max Cloud theatrically and on VOD on December 18th 2020. A DVD and Blu-ray will follow on January 19, 2021.
In the UK, the film was released on Digital on 18th January 2021, alongside DVD and Blu-ray formats, courtesy of 101 Films and (Yet) Another Distribution Company.
