Reviews [click links to read more]:

“This is a pretty cool crime thriller that really keeps things moving from beginning to end but also affords its lead characters character arcs, making them more than just catalysts for the action, while the plot features many original twists and turns to keep one interested. This all is helped by solid and relatable performances and a dynamic yet not overpowering directorial effort, making this one a pretty entertaining watch.” Search My Trash

“At its core, Break Even is a drama centred around Jaq coming to grips with her past and with who she wants to become. It isn’t an action film or even a thriller and anyone expecting one is going to be as disappointed as I was. Even Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy, Lavalantula) in a brief appearance as an arms dealer falls flat.” Voices from the Balcony
