Reviews:

“Loved Jason Isaacs (even more than in Scoob) and Nick Frost in this, it’s really funny, has great Easter eggs, and it has neat moments in the Dark Ages for these characters. Another win for the Scooby-Doo legacy! And another win for Maxwell Atoms, one seriously groovy dude!” Alec Greer

” …a stock, paint-by-numbers Scooby mystery. Even the animation looks cheap. The explanations at the end for “what really happened” defy even the basic logic of the Scooby-Doo universe, and there’s a glibness to it that comes across as insulting to the audience. Overall, it’s a slapdash movie that’s an okay choice for a rainy day, but families are better off checking out the classic TV series.” Common Sense Media

“I wouldn’t say that it’s particularly unique or incredible, but it is fun for kids and the whole family. Who doesn’t want to see Mystery Inc. become knights? The voice acting is very well done, and the animation is top-notch as well. In the end, this film is fun for a family movie night.” Geek Tyrant

“It wasn’t amazing, but it definitely wasn’t bad. It was fun to watch. As noted before, the writers behind these newer Scooby-Doo movies do well to throw in little tidbits that hint at past incarnations of our favorite mystery solvers. And although the mysteries are fairly easy to predict, I’m glad each movie tries to be different and creative in regards to the setting, villains, and supporting characters.” The Geekiary

“This movie does a great job of channeling the original show with the look, the humor, and the story. I love having new Scooby-Doo content that feels like classic Scooby-Doo content. This is one that we will watch as a family time and time again. Yes, it is clearly for a younger audience, but there is stuff for the adults too.” Mama’s Geeky

” …can’t say I really laughed but found this to be a fine time-waster, especially being only 76-minutes long. Jason Isaacs and Nick Frost lend their voices as King Arthur and Merlin respectively; Isaacs especially seemed to be having a good time voicing an egotistical version of Arthur. The voice work of the Scooby gang meanwhile are more or less on point, Lillard is still great as Shaggy.” Movieman’s Guide to the Movies
