‘Family is Hell’
The Wrong House is a 2013 American horror film about two families looking for a new home who go to an isolated property open for buyers. Unfortunately, having discovered a girl with no tongue, they also soon find they can’t leave. Also known as House Hunting
Written and directed by Eric Hurt, the Pillage and Plunder Pictures production stars Marc Singer, Art LaFleur, Hayley DuMond and Janey Gioiosa.
Plot:
Upon entering a desert farmhouse, two families discover that every attempt to leave takes them right back in. Stuck in purgatory, they are haunted by the home’s former owner, who declares only one clan will be able to call the house their home.

“The only real problem I had with The Wrong House is that some of the acting was a little wobbly, but for the most part is was pretty good, with the likes of Art LaFleur and The Beastmaster himself, Marc Singer, turning in solid performances. The ending sequence reminded me of The Shining and in many ways these people lose their minds from the isolation.
