Demented is a 2021 Canadian supernatural horror film about a female entity and a spate of women being murdered for dark web entertainment.
Written and directed by Nigel Hartwell (The Epidemic; Dead by Dawn and sequel; Surburan Madness; The Expedition; Insight of Evil and sequel), the New Blood Entertainment production stars Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Angelina Love and Cheyenne Ennis (Insight of Evil).
Plot:
For one female entity time stands still, while for another time travels back and forth between the plains of the supernatural and the earthly horrors of exploitation and murder. Under the guise of true love, Senica leads countless women down a dangerous path of no return. Guided only by the loyalty of Amanda and the sanctity of sisterhood.
This story attempts to raise awareness as it runs the full spectrum of the human condition and exposes the sometimes dark pathology of today’s social media. Although fictitious, this movie depicts the cruel reality regarding the number of women who go missing every year…
