Sharkula is a 2022 American comedy horror film about a Great White vampire shark and its undead assistants.

Written, directed and edited by Mark Polonia (Amityville in Space; Noah’s SharkVirus SharkReturn to Splatter FarmGhost of Camp BloodBigfoot vs. ZombiesFeeders; and many more).

The Polonia Brothers Entertainment-Very Scary Productions movie stars Danielle Donahue, Kyle Rappaport, Jeff Kirkendall, Jamie Morgan, James Carolus, Titus Himmelberger, Tim Hatch and Yolie Canales.

Plot:
The curse of Count Dracula lives on in shark-infested waters, claiming the lives of a tourist community. A sea hunt for the new species results in monsters, madness and bloodshed. A Great White is putting the bite back into terror and it has the aid of new vampires intent on seeing it survive.

Reviews:

“The only thing keeping this from perfection was that the Sharkula never did a full diving swoop chomp. Renfield however, was the standout. I could listen to that guy rush mumble through his lines for hours! Also, Jeff killed it.” Adam Loves Bad Movies

“I can go on and on about all the problems with the film, but suffice to say, while the quality of filmmaking “sucks” and the acting “sucks”, the story idea is actually intriguingly fun. But the shining star of Sharkula is campy badness that is so damn good that you can’t tear yourself away.” Behind the Lens

“Worst spent 70 minutes of my year 😖” Luis Ramirez

Release:
In the USA, Wild Eye Releasing released Sharkula on DVD on June 7, 2022. The film is also available via Amazon Prime
