Produced by Ron Bonk.

The Polonia Brothers Entertainment production stars Houston Baker (ZillaFoot; Queen Crab; Amityville Death House; Jurassic Prey), Samantha Coolidge (Children of Camp Blood), Ryan Dalton (Invasion of the Empire of the Apes; Children of Camp Blood), Cassandra Hayes (Amityville Island; She Kills; Necropath; Tales of Dracula), Jeff Kirkendall (Sharkula; Camp Murder; Amityville Island) and Drew Patrick (Return to Splatter Farm).

Our review:

Dune World is astonishingly awful. Even the likes of talentless writer John Oak Dalton and legendarily lazy hack director Mark Polonia have come up with better drivel before. The initial planet footage here was presumably lifted from another production, however, the indoor spaceship footage – which features old TV monitors and wooden doors – is prime Polonia insulting crap that’s seemingly shot in an office! All the remaining on-planet footage is just cheapo shot-on-the-hoof green-screened garbage that looks dreadful. Even at just 70 minutes, Dune World is a slog to get through. There is no excuse for this rip-off rubbish which isn’t even amusingly bad.

Other reviews:

“Just wow! This movie was phenomenally bad. It was bad in every possible way and aspect. From the storyline to the acting, to the special effects and to the props and costumes. Everything here was just beyond the scope of what you would think would be passable for a movie to see the light of day in 2021. Yet somehow writer John Oak Dalton managed to pen the script for this atrocity of a movie, and director Mark Polonia brought it to the screen.” Paul Haakonsen

“There are ‘bad movies’ and then there are ‘awful movies’. Even if it hadn’t cost much to make this ‘movie’, the question on everybody’s mind, after spending 15 minutes watching it, would probably be “But why even make it at all?” !! […] Compared to this, Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space looks like high art.” Little Satan Hooves

“Even for one of Polonia’s films this feels cheap and rushed. So little happens that it actually feels incomplete, as though it’s missing scenes or a whole subplot […] avoid Dune World at all costs. There’s no plot, no action and no reason to watch it, it isn’t even unintentionally funny.” Voices from the Balcony
