Wolf Creek 3 is a forthcoming Australian horror film continuing the murderous activities of inveterate serial killer Mick Taylor. The sequel follows Wolf Creek (2005), Wolf Creek 2 (2013) and the two-season TV series (2016 – 2017), also called Wolf Creek. There have also been two novels about the Mick Taylor character’s nefarious activities.

Directed by Rachele Wiggins – making her feature debut – from a screenplay by Colombian-born Duncan Samarasinghe. The creator of the Wolf Creek franchise, Greg McLean will produce through via Emu Creek Pictures banner, along with Bianca Martino (The Darkness) and Kristian Moliere (The Babadook).

Plot:

An American family takes a dream trip to the Australian outback and soon draws the attention of notorious serial killer Mick Taylor (John Jarratt). A hellish nightmare ensues as the couple’s two children escape only to be hunted by Australia’s most infamous killer.

Production:

Filming will begin in late 2021 in South Australia.

Release:

Altitude Film Sales has picked up worldwide sales rights, excluding Australia/New Zealand, and will pitch the movie to buyers this week at the virtual Cannes Market for a planned release in 2022.
