Shelby Oaks is a forthcoming American mystery horror film about a group of missing fictional paranormal investigators. The movie will be a combination of documentary, found footage and traditional film footage styles. Influences include Lake MungoThe Blair Witch Project and Zodiac.

Written, directed and co-produced by YouTube movie critic Chris Stuckmann – who has close to two million subscribers and has previously made a number of short films – the movie is a Paper Street Pictures (The Pale Door; Scare Package) production overseen by Aaron B. Koontz.

Shelby Oaks became the most-funded horror film project ever on Kickstarter raising $711,000 from over 7,500 backers.

The movie stars Keith David, Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Camille Sullivan, Robin Bartlett, Charlie Talbert, Sarah Durn, Emily Bennett and Lisa Coffey.

Multiple found footage videos have surfaced online in recent months which have prompted horror and ARG (Alternate Reality Game) fans to speculate about the veracity of the case and the whereabouts of the investigators known as The Paranormal Paranoids. One video uploaded recently appeared to show the abduction of Riley, one of the group.

In May 2022, filming on Shelby Oaks began in Cleveland.
