Blood Covered Chocolate is a 2022 American horror film about a recovering drug addict who is bitten by an ancient, shape-shifting monster. Now, he must fight to save his girlfriend from the same bloody fate.
Written and directed by Monte Light (Space 2020). Produced by Frank Merle (The Employer), Gregory Schmittel and Neal Tyler. The American Courtyard Productions/Lone Morsel Productions movie stars Michael Klug, Christine Nguyen, Meghan Deanna Smith, Helene Udy (My Bloody Valentine 1981), Mike Ferguson, Debra Lamb (Beverly Hills Vamp), Jamie Tran and Joe Altieri.
Writer-director Monte Light explained: “It’s a side of vampirism that feels fresh and psychologically compelling. It’s also an exploration of my own struggles with substance abuse. It’s the most personal movie I’ve ever made.”
