Dead South is a 2021 American horror film about three documentary filmmakers who go to the mid-south to cover drugs and gang violence issues. While filming in West Memphis, Arkansas they witness patient zero and the spread of the virus. They soon run into a group of survivors with the cure. Now they must travel across the Hernando De Soto bridge to get the cure to the Memphis CDC checkpoint before time runs out…
Written, directed by and co-starring George Washington III, the Black Star Pictures movie also stars Noelia Warnette, Katharine “Blue” Brown, Micheal Brown, Allonya Payne and Olivia Gilliland. Produced by George Washington and Taylor Gilliland.
