Reviews:

“The film is unique, fun […] However, this story and style of comedy are much better suited for a web series. Something that can maximize the micro-budget and let the actors explore the depths of their improv. Throughout this two-hour production, I was constantly checking my watch as time slowly ticked on by.” Film Threat

“Rarely do I stop a film before the end just in case a bad movie redeems itself somehow. I wasn’t prepared to suffer any longer with this piece of utter garbage. How the hell did this get released?” Graham A. Thomas

” …there is very little story. That said the idea is meant to be character rather than story-driven. The improv is uneven, with it being fun at times but not quite hitting home at others. However, the characters are fun in and of themselves and […] that kept me engaged through the running length.” Taliesin Meets the Vampires

Director and co-writer J.R. Timothy:

“When you watch Vampires Are Real my hopes are that you will laugh and enjoy the erratic characters and their improvisation throughout the movie. The stakes, pun intended, are heightened to ridiculous levels as these two buddies find the balance of hunting vampires and being best friends forever. You will literally see the visible joy and fun of this movie on all the actors.”
