Years later, a wounded woman appears on his doorstep. Maria Johnson (Olga Kent) is an escaped lab rat, and her pursuers believe her blood is the key to a worldwide cure. Though John is hesitant to get involved, all doubts are cast aside when he discovers Maria’s pursuer is none other than Commander Stone (Daniel Nehme), the man that murdered his wife some years ago…

Reviews:

“It’s bad in every boring way possible, and when it comes to the action scenes dozen of other trashy action movies made for the home video market are better at delivering the goods.” Arsene Lucifer

“There is action aplenty in Last Man Down. In fact, at times some of the scenes seem to run together and I’m certain that I saw him kill the same stuntmen at least half a dozen times. The times where LMD struggles as a film is when Stisen and company aren’t killing bad guys. The moments where they try to piece together a story about a virus and a potential bloodborne vaccine falls flat.” Bulletproof Action

“The film maybe tries to for a silly pastiche of 80s action cliches but misses the mark completely. Instead of fun bad dialogue, it’s all just plain bad and even though the action has few enjoyable scenes of silliness, most of it is just very boring to watch.” Mikko Seppänen

” …Stisen nor Nehme are particularly good actors, thankfully Last Man Down doesn’t call for them to do much more than snarl and break heads. Hopefully, there are some acting classes in the future. Also, the ending is a bit too blatant a setup for a sequel. But I’ll gladly watch that sequel because this is one of the best DTV action films I’ve seen in a while.” Voices from the Balcony
