Two is a 2021 bizarre film in which two strangers – a man and a woman – wake up unclothed in bed… connected by flesh at their abdomens. The pair have no recollection of how they got to the mysterious room and find themselves in and grow increasingly suspicious of each other as they try to figure out the Hellish situation.

Directed by Mar Targarona (director of Secuestro; Die, My Darling; producer of The Beast; The Body; Paranormal Xperience 3D; Julia’s Eyes; The Orphanage) from a screenplay co-written by Cuca Canals, Christian Molina and Mike Hostench.

The Spanish Rodar y Rodar Cine y Televisión-Stick Together A.I.E co-production stars Marina Gatell (Little Ashes), Pablo Derqui (Julia’s Eyes), Esteban Galilea, Anna Chincho Serrano and Kandido Uranga.

Our review:
Leads Pablo Derqui and Marina Gatell are commendable in their roles and the premise is intriguing despite some rather awkward dialogue scenes. Unfortunately, the denouement lacks dramatic effect.

Two is worth watching but be prepared for a finale that may seem pointlessly fatalistic. The short running time is welcome yet suggests the filmmakers knew there wasn’t much here beyond their unique concept.

Dos is a film that thriller lovers will enjoy being able to watch, observe, analyze and even investigate its meaning regarding certain topics.” Cinema Gavia

“The screenwriters of Dos, Cuca Canals, Christian Molina and Miquel Hostench, gradually spin the story together in such a way that the viewer continues to ponder, playing with the clues that the characters, the room and other elements of the story give us, like a riddle of these super elaborate with which we played in our first virtual games.” Las Furias

” …I loved it. There is no doubt that the ending of Dos on Netflix is one that hits home. Throughout the movie, you will be trying to figure out why these strangers end up stitched together at the abdomen. When the answer is revealed, it makes perfect sense. Well, in the mind of the sick person behind it, anyway.” Heaven of Horror

Two is uncomfortable and will make you think of the bigger things in life. It’s short enough to not become boring, considering there’s only so much you can do in a single room. It will make you squirm and introduce you to concepts that can be a bit hard to grasp. However, the end comes quick and easy and might just leave you a bit dissatisfied.” Leisure Byte

“There’s volatile chemistry between the stars, but little urgency to what’s going on. The nature of the wound and how it connects them seems to shift to meet the needs of camera blocking […] It makes for a dull, illogical thriller that’s an excruciating 71 minutes, and not excruciating in a good way, either.” Movie Nation

“Obviously, those who deserve praise for Dos are the protagonists played by Pablo Derqui and Marina Gatell. This really is sharing the limelight. They endure the whole film acting glued. And while it is true that sometimes she is guilty of exaggerating and he of not having an emotional connection, both perform a sinister dance that deserves applause.” Moviementarios

“Given the amount of questions raised across the run-time, the film pulls a bit of a switch and bait, despite some foreshadowed moments midway through. Ultimately, Two (Dos) is a bit of a mixed bag. It’s an okay Friday night B-movie but also lacks any of the polish or intrigue other films of its kind manage to bring with it.” The Review Geek
