Reviews:

“The bizarre moments in The Whole Truth aren’t bone-chilling per se. As most of the time, it is just the ghost girl puking blood that is seen. There are no jump scares or nightmare instilling circumstances that will make someone cringe. The horror moments, though, are intensified by the music and the sound effects, which keep the viewers at the edge of their seats.” Fiction Horizon

The Whole Truth is a hallucinogenic mystery. It is a movie that tries to break out of the genre from a perspective that is rarely seen in Thai movies. But this endeavor was not yet a complete success. It’s mediocre, not bad, but not as good as it should be.” Filmy Hype

“It takes a while to get started and also takes too long to get to the big reveal. Or rather big reveals. Like many horror movies, this one also has several twists before it’s all over […] There are some truly cool VFX scenes, but the CGI elements that contain blood are just too much. They feel off and fake.” Heaven of Horror

The Whole Truth is exhausting to watch. It’s about everything and nothing. It’s a drama, a social commentary movie and a horror. At the end of the day, I wanted to watch the Thai version of The Visit but got a movie that is confusing and annoying with what it is trying to be.” Leisure Byte

“The characters do their best with an exposed script, and it’s evident that the director was attempting to throw in as many horror tropes as possible. And admittedly, the use of sounds was effective, but this is a misfire and misses the point — even a story about the “horror of the manifested truth” is not enough to save the film.” Ready Steady Cut
