The Ghosts of Monday is a 2022 Cypriot horror film about a television director who becomes embroiled in a supernatural conspiracy after travelling to Cyprus to make a TV pilot about a haunted hotel.
Directed by Francesco Cinquemani (The Christmas Witch; Beyond the Edge; Andron) from a screenplay co-written with Andy Edwards, Barry Keating and Mark Thompson-Ashworth, based on a story by co-producer Loris Curci (Nightworld). Also produced by Marianna Rosset and Vitaly Rosset.
The Altadium Group production stars Julian Sands (Death Rider in the House of Vampires; The Ghosts of Borley Rectory; A Nasty Piece of Work; Warlock franchise; Gothic), Anthony Skordi, Elva Trill, Mark Huberman, Joanna Fyllidou and Flavia Watson.
Distribution and release:
The Ghosts of Monday is being represented by Jinga Films and has closed some distribution deals at the 2022 Cannes film market. Cleopatra Entertainment has acquired all rights for the US, while Raven Banner will release in Canada. Reel2Reel has acquired UK and Ireland and Lighthouse will distribute in Germany and Austria.

The Ghosts of Monday was financed using the Cyprus Tax Scheme which offers producers a rebate of 40% on local spending. Produced during the lockdown, the film made full use of the St. Raphael Resort hotel in Limassol, which had been forced to close due temporarily.
