Reviews:
“It’s about Liam Neeson plowing through a torrent of bland villains, just as he’s done in at least a dozen other pictures. Memory is ironically titled because very little about it is memorable in any way. This is the kind of movie that will pop up on cable, where you’ll see a couple minutes of it and ask yourself, “Which one is this?”” 2/4 The Aisle Seat

“This marks the second time Neeson has decided at this point in his career to make a grouchy Clint Eastwood-style old man film. It defies my logic unless he really needs the money, but I doubt that. He still has many good years ahead of him. Also, I remain confused as to why Guy Pearce would take a role so poorly written…” C+ Flick Direct

Memory is also a bit too scattershot and all over the place that it’s hard to completely invest in this otherwise dark and compelling tale. Ironically, it turns out that Liam Neeson is the best part of a film that does have more on its mind than giving the Irish brute his typical revenge motives.” Flickering Myth

“Neeson, yet again, manages to make a despicable man charming and easy to root for. As his memory crumbles, he literally sets his bullet wounds aflame (a raw sequence), and you wince with him when he’s hurt or when he kicks ass. Pearce has rarely been as chiseled/weathered as he is here yet gets the job done, as always. Bellucci brings elegance and class to the proceedings.” 3/5 Irish Film Critic
