Reviews:
“Following on from where the first film (Road of the Dead) left off, there are some familiar characters who appear along the way. Kiah and Tristan Roache-Turner’s maniacal film moves the story on, but by its nature is less creative. It still has the same rugged personality though.” Backseat Mafia

” …the Roache-Turners never overcomplicate their main objective, which is to have as much fun as possible. If Apocalypse is anything, it’s a joyous celebration of Australian cinema and the fun that can be had while making a movie. Along with their cast and crew, the Roache-Turner’s passion and enthusiasm for exciting cinema bursts through the screen.” Cinema Australia

“The leading actors comport themselves well, especially the awesome foursome of McGregor, Barnes-Cowan, Gallagher and Bradey. Zalar is very good, too, even though she spends much of the time-bound and gagged – she does a lot with her eyes. Indeed, all the speaking roles are extremely credible – these men and women really threw themselves into their roles and most performed their own stunts, of which there are many.” A Film Life

“If you prefer your zombie flicks with wonderfully heavy-handed social commentary ala George Romero or lengthy discussion of feelings like in The Walking Dead, this is not the venue you should be visiting. If, however, you want to witness a splattery, cinematic seance that summons the spirits of early Sam Raimi and George Miller and unleashes them on a modern audience, you’re going to have a bloody belter of a time of Wyrmwood: Apocalypse.” Film Ink
