Jurassic Island is a 2020 science fiction action horror film in which a rescue team sent to a mysterious island encounters dinosaurs.
Directed by Wang Xin (Contractual Maid Housekeeper; Xiaoming & His Friends) from a screenplay co-written by Bailu and Liu Zhe.
The Chinese Penguin Film and Television, Rabbit Hole Culture, Funny Film and Television, Naifei Film and Television production stars Wang Wanzhong (Ghost Ship From Lop Nur; Human Bone Curse), Li Ning (Monster’s Battlefield; Restart the Earth), Liu Beige (Hey! Little Bones; Witch Crazy Flower; Monster Hunt 2), Zhou Rui and Wang Daxiong.
Plot:
A well-equipped international rescue team led by wild survival expert Wu Yingying (Li Ning) and the head of the research institute, Zhou Fangrui (Wang Wanzhong), goes to the mysterious remote drifting island known as “Ghost Island” to rescue an expedition team in distress.
During the adventure, they are not only surprised to find that strange ancient plants have grown to huge sizes they are also attacked by various ferocious and terrifying prehistoric creatures.
