Torn Hearts is a 2022 American horror film about a country music duo who go to their idol’s mansion and end up in a twisted series of horrors. Soon, the pair are forced to confront the limits they’d go for their music career dreams.

Directed by actress/filmmaker Brea Grant (12 Hour Shift; Best Friends Forever) from a screenplay written by Rachel Koller Croft.

The Blumhouse Television Productions movie stars Katey Sagal (Futurama), Shiloh Fernandez, Joshua Leonard, Abby Quinn, Alexxis Lemire, Clarke Wolfe and Sailor Larocque.

Reviews:
” …the three central performances go a long way toward forgiving the general predictability of the story. In proving Harper’s persuasion, a few darkly vicious surprises still remain by the end. While more inherent camp was welcome, Grant’s strengths in keeping the craziness trucking along within a limited space push “Torn Hearts” over the top.” B- The Artful Critic

“Grant maintains momentum with the endeavor, working with Croft’s idea for toxic partnerships and power plays, and she has a game cast to bring the film to life, finding Quinn and Lemire offering nicely agitated performances, while Sagal has fun with Harper’s games of manipulation. Torn Hearts isn’t explosive, but it has an enjoyably insidious atmosphere and a fascinating point of view on the corrosive aspects of the music business.” 3.5/5 Blu-ray.com

“Towards the end, the movie simply goes back into pure slasher fest material, but the road to that climax is quite good. Torn Hearts might not be innovative, or even amazing, but it is a solid effort that will entertain a lot of people when they discover it.” 7/10 Fiction Horizon
