Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a 2024 comedy film in which the new and old teams must join forces to save the world from a second ice age. The movie is a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021).

Directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House; City of Ember; Poltergeist (2015); A Boy Called Christmas) from a screenplay co-written with Jason Reitman. Based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters. Produced by Jason Reitman and Jason Blumenfeld.

The movie stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, and Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts.

Plot:
The Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age…
