“This is a fresh and original approach to the horror genre that fails to make the landing it deserves. Itʼs a cocktail of genre tropes from both sides of the coin, with dedicated performances and a poignant message. While itʼs disappointing that the ending lacks the sleekness and pacing the rest of the film boasts it still contains a lot of passion, heart and talent both in front and behind the camera.” Horror DNA

One Must Fall is definitely not one for the squeamish, and gorehounds will find plenty of skin-crawling special effects on display, with some of the kills drawn out. The film’s well-fleshed-out characters, funny comic sequences, and jaw-dropping ending make it an independent effort well worth putting on your radar.” Horror Fuel

“Chemistry between actors was highlighted within the thoughtful banter and the attention to set design. Costumes also impressed me, with some f*cking fantastic 80s product placements thrown in. An era appropriate score with some ‘nostalgic’ editing really sealed the deal for me, allowing me to easily settle into this world that Pantoja created.” Morbidly Beautiful

One Must Fall features some truly fantastic looking special effects and makeup effects, that coupled with inventive kills leads to a lot of satisfaction for the gore hound in me. I felt the transition from comedy to horror actually worked for this when usually it feels like too much of a change up, and the characters were mostly pretty likeable for once.” The Rotting Zombie

“Whatever the budget was, it looks more expensive than that, down to old-fashioned ingenuity. The cinematography in the abandoned warehouse paints everything in a palette of neon mold to impressive effect. Which reminds me, the effects are impressive. This is an ambitious, sometimes messy, always entertaining bloodbath of a horror movie.” Screen Fervor
