‘Welcome home’
Dawning is a 2022 American-South Korean horror thriller about a trauma therapist who is forced to face her family’s darkest past when she returns to her childhood countryside farm to console her heartbroken younger sister.
Written and directed by Young Min Kim (short: Simon Parker) making his film directorial debut. He has previously provided visual effects for movies such as The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Forever Purge, The Craft: Legacy, Jumanji: The Next Level, Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw, Spider-Man: Far from Home and Men in Black: International.
The Swwm LLC-Young Min Kim Picture co-production stars Kim Ellis, Veronica Kim, VyVy Nguyen, Philicia Saunders, Felix Park, Una Kim and Jose Villarreal.
